| 1. What areas
of Tennessee does Opportunity East serve? |
Our mobile services will travel approximately 100 miles from Morristown if requested – even further on a limited basis. Our residential program can accommodate clients from anywhere in Tennessee. |
| 2. Can I request
Opportunity East as my training and
evaluation provider? |
Absolutely! Federal laws require that the disabled
individual is offered an active roll in the development of their rehabilitation
plan. |
| 3. Can rehabilitation services be provided to me without numerous trips to Opportunity East’s facilities? | Most of our evaluations and
training can be provided within the individual’s community if preferred,
with the exception of Tennessee Business Enterprises evaluations/training,
and work adjustment training. Contact us for details. |
| 4. How do I apply to have Opportunity East as my provider of services? | If eligible, your local division
of rehabilitation services will refer you to us for services. Contact us if you need assistance locating
the appropriate referral source. |
| 5. Who pays for Opportunity East’s services? | Our
services are free of charge to the trainee. We are funded through a
contract with the Tennessee Division of Rehabilitation Services. |
